You gotta give Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer some serious credit: The True Blood stars' twins were born 9 months ago, and we still know next to nothing about the babies. Pretty much all we know are their genders (a boy and a girl) and even those were a mystery for a good long time. Hey, I don't blame the couple for wanting a little privacy, and I especially don't blame them for keeping the twins' names a secret all this time. Let's face it, celebs just can't win when it comes to baby names: Too weird! Too boring! What were they thinking?!
But the wait is (maybe) over at last! Rumor has it the twins are named ... Katya and Andrew! Awww, those are super cute names! Not weird OR boring. Of course, Katya and Andrew do happen to be the names of Anna Paquin's older brother and sister ... hmmm.
So either the "source" got a little mixed up re: family members and the twins are named something else entirely, or Anna and Stephen really did name their babies after Paquin's brother and sister. Which would be really sweet ... and ... different? I mean, not to be morbid, but usually parents name their children after relatives who passed away. As a tribute of sorts. Then again, it's not at all uncommon for boys to be given the same name as their (still living) dads, so maybe this is just a variation on the "junior" theme?
