30 Rock actor and notorious hothead Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria welcomed a daughter last night! The 29-year-old yoga instructor was admitted to Mount Sinai Hospital on Friday after going into labor, the New York Daily News reports. Buzz mounted when Baldwin was seen going into the Upper East Side hospital with several bags, unloading them with the help of two friends.
But we didn't have to rely on rumors for long. The couple was quick to confirm the happy news. Hilaria took to Twitter to announce the birth ... and also their little girl's name!
We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our daughter Carmen Gabriela.
So pretty, right?
Carmen is Alec's second child. He's also father to daughter Ireland Baldwin with his former wife, actress Kim Basinger. Hilaria actually mentioned her stepdaughter in her joyful tweet, and Ireland responded with a "welcome note" to her very little sister on her Tumblr.

The 17-year-old model offered many words of wisdom about growing up in the spotlight, signing off:
I love you, Carmen. You have been born into one crazy family. You are both lucky and cursed at the same time. We are going to have so fun much fun together. I can't wait to meet you soon. I promise you I will always be there for you no matter what! Never forget!
Ireland also tackled everything from dealing with parents to body image to drugs and more, noting that she hoped that by the time Carmen was reading the letter, they would "be best friends, sitting in some rad coffee shop in Brooklyn, talking about bands and how... Channing Tatum used to be hot. Maybe cars will be hovering and s--t." Ha. Sounds like someone's psyched to be a sister! And sounds like Alec and Hilaria's little girl has a lot to look forward to!
