Choosing to wait to find out the gender of a baby until birth can be so exciting, and so challenging when it comes to nursery design. I think mom, Molly Crawford from the Nesting Game, did a bang up job converting this former guest room into a welcoming space for her little one.

Molly executed a few fun sewing projects including the ottoman cover and pillow seen here. I think they turned out fantastic and really give the room a custom feel without the custom price tag.

Wanting to keep a full size bed in the room for visiting guests and family proved to be a bit of a design challenge, but in the end worked out wonderfully. It's a tight, but excellent fit.

Love the pop of turquoise blue in the well organized closet. It's a fun and unexpected departure from the dark, navy colored walls in the rest of the room.

This end table is one of my favorite details in this nursery. I love the glossy red paint job and the collection of books it holds too.
I know that navy isn't always used as a gender neutral color but I think in this case, it worked out beautifully! Have you ever chosen a bold and non-traditional wall color for your child's room? I'd love to hear about it!
